Lorna Merrell is a top Real Estate Transaction Coordinator in the East Bay. She plays a key role on my Real Estate team, assisting the agents and our clients throughout the Real Estate transaction.  Her career started at Alain Pinel Realtors in 2010, where she first developed her love for the industry, and understanding of the intricacies that make up a real estate transaction.

Since that time, she has taken her love for the industry and directed her focus towards being a successful Transaction Coordinator.  Her commendable personality and constant pursuit for knowledge has given her an opportunity to excel in her chosen career path.  During her tenure as a TC, she has facilitated hundreds of real estate transactions representing millions of dollars in business.

Lorna works towards making the entire real estate process less complicated for everyone involved, including the Escrow team, agents & most importantly the clients. She manages all the paperwork, ensuring that key deadlines are met, all required disclosures are completed to protect all parties involved and communication is handled in a timely manner. Her sales background allows her to be sensitive to clients’ needs, ensuring they are happy and well informed during the Escrow process.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire contract-to-close process

• Act as a liaison between clients, agents, and all third-party vendors

• Create timelines and check lists to make sure deadlines are met

• Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them up to date

• Promote a smooth transaction process by establishing relationships with all agents, lenders, inspectors, appraisers and Escrow agents

• Be the first point of contact for all parties involved for any questions or concerns that may arise

• Solidify closing dates, due dates for important deadlines & ensure that all required disclosures are signed & in the file by Close of Escrow

• Create Transaction file or Flash drive for clients with entire transaction documentation
